The Suzanne Farrell Ballet joins Cincinnati Ballet in George Balanchine’s captivating Chaconne, an abstract celebration of the joys of love. Coached by Farrell, who was Balanchine’s favorite muse, the combined company will fill the stage in a stunning grand promenade for the entire cast. You’ll also see Trey McIntyre’s sexy and wacky Chasing Squirrel, and relish the charged emotional relationships in Viktor Kabaniaev’s Pairs, a Cincinnati premiere inspired by the moving contemporary music of Bohuslav Martinu.
